的知 late, l知 late for a very important date. No time to say Hello, Good-by. I late, I知 late, I知 late.

Lewis Carrol痴 immortal White Rabbit characterized of a new type of modern person who appeared during the Industrial Revolution. In real life, Lewis Carrol was the Rev. Charles Dodgson. A keen observer of people, he realized that many of his contemporaries were pursuing perfectly legitimate spiritual values thorough purely human means. Many of these same people had trouble with solitude. Missing a central relationship to God, they avoided reflecting on life's lessons. Nor did they ponder that they thought was valuable for the next day. Everything became equally important and they were drowning in the possibilities of live. Beneath their addition to activity was a desire to remain distracted from the void in the center of their own souls.

I believe that this is the central spiritual issue of our day.

The form of meditation I teach might be called "Listening Prayer." Many people have found listening prayer a powerful way to stay in touch with and remain in touch with the Living Presence of God. God's Presence frees us from the tyranny of self and the always unfinished 鍍o do list. God wants you to embrace, celebrate and remember the joy of life.
